MASTERTON BOROUGH ELECTION.
TWELVE CANDIDATES NOMINATED. Nominations for the Mayoralty of Masterton and for nine seats on tho Borough Council closed with the Re-.i turning Officer (Mr R. Brown) at j noon yesterday. Mr J. M. Cpradino was the only person nominated for j the Mayoralty, and he was declared I re-elected. Twelve nominations were received for the Council, and these were as follows: James Elliott, nominated by Messrs F. W. Temple and C. S. Graham. ♦ Thomas George Hoar, nominated by Messrs S. R.
