WOOL CLASSING.
THE MASTERTON CLASSES. Mr E. L. Leer:, who has been appointed the wool instructor at the Masterton Technical School this year, told a "Dominion" representative that'the pupils in the classes would number between eighty arid one hundred.- Classes are to be held at Masterton, Bidet'ordj Te Wharau, and Tinui. Arrangements are being made for the holding of classes in Gladstone and Martinborough, and perhaps Featherston will be included. It is considered that holding the classes at these places will suit the pupils better than requiring all the students to go to Masterton. Th? opening of the classes is fixed for Monday week at Eideforl *Cn Wednesday the Masterton- classes will be commenced, on which occasion there will probably- be some interesting addresses. Mr Lees has suggested to the Board of Managers that they should issue certificates of-competency, not so much'for'" the: farmers as for students who are u'rofeEsional chvs.c°rs.
