LOAN PROPOSALS.
TJMAItU, Last Night. Polls were taken to-day on three Borough loan proposals, namely, £36,000 for the extension of -th? drainage to the new Borough, £IO,OOO for new streets in the new- Borough, and £4.0,00!) for municipal buildings. About 1000 ratepayers voted. The two larger loans were carried with few dissentients, and the third by about two to one.
