(Received Last Night, 9.50 o'clock.) SYDNEY, April 19. -

At a luncheon held in connection with Manufacturers' Week, Mr Trefie, Minister for Agriculture, quoted figures showing the value of machinery in the Commonwealth to be £26,000,000, of which £10,000,000 worth was in New South Wales. The value of premises used by manufacturers in the Commonwealth was assessed at £65,000,000, and in New South Wales at £27,000,000. In ten years the production of the Commonwealth had increased from £112,272,000 to £174,000,000-.
