HOLIDAYS IN WELLINGTON.
WELLINGTON, Last Night
The holiday passed off' quietly. Heavy rain fell on Saturday morning, and spoilt outdoor gatherings in some cases. The afternoon was fine, however, and some visiting football teams met on different grounds, but in no case was the play remarkable. The Wellington Club and Christchurch drew, with three points each; Pqneke beat Albion (Christchureh) by 13 to nil; and in the inter-Oollege tournament Christchureh High School Old Boys defeated Nelson College Old Boys by 10 to 3. Christchureh Old Boys meet the Wellington Old Boys to-morrow.
