SOCIAL DEMOCRATS.
AND THE LABOUR PARTY. (Received Last Night, b.b' o'clock.) LONDON, April 15. The Social Democratic Conference at Coventry accused the Labour Party of abandoning its independence and of identifying itself with the Liberals. The Conference rejected a proposal for national affiliation, but decided to allow local branches the option of affiliating with branches of the Labour Party. It denounced the Government's invalidity insurance proposals as insufficiently democratic.
