THE AGRICULTURAL JOURNAL.

It is reported that, in consequence of the poor support accorded it by the farming community, the Minister for Agriculture intends stopping the publication of the "Agricultural Journal." The cost of this publication is only 2s 6d per year, and the special articles it contains are alone worth double the money. It would be a thousand pities if, through lack of support, it snould be found necessary to suspend the publication of the "Journal." Since the Department has withheld items of general information from the daily press, it is essential that there should be tome means of placing the farming community in possession of departmental news.
