Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report 011 /their Johnsonville sale as followsWe offered a heavy yarding of prime bullocks and sheep, which isold' readily at late rates. Prime 'heavy bullocks, £9 12s 6d to £11; one pen of extra prime making £ll 5s 6d; vealers 35s to £2 2s; good wethers, 16s; prime ew.es, 15s 6d, good ewes, 14s to 14s 6d; shorn wether®, 13s to 13s 9d; prime shorn lambs, 10s 6d to lis; woolly, lis to. lis 8d; prime, 9s 6u to 10s.

MASTERTON STOCK SALE

The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., report at their weekly isale at the Solway yards yesterday:— The yarding, with the exception of a few pens of wethers, was mostly made up of inferior ewes. Wethers, well grown, were in good demand, and) all sold at an advance on previous markets. Aged and faulty ewes were hard to quit, finally .selling as boilers. Lamlbs sold at late rates. Fatsi -were represented by one pen. Forward 4-tooth wethers, 13s 7d; very forward 2-tooth up to 12s 9d; smaller sorts, 10s to lis; good sound ewes, 8s to 9s; boilers, 3s to 4s; lambs, 5s to 5s 6d.
