WAIRARAPA HOCKEY ASSOCIATION
ANNUAL MEETINiG. The annual meeting of the Wairarapa Hockey Association was held in Rankin's Rooms last evening, the Rev. W. Raine presiding. A large number of delegates from the local and South Wairarapa Clubs were present. The balance sheet was read and adopted.
Mr A. C. Major wrote, tendering his resignation as President.— It was decided to write acknowledging receipt of the letter, and thanking Mr Major for his past good services.
Applications wore received from the Martinborough and Dalefield Clubs for permits for junior teams. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:— Patron, Mr A. C. Major; President, Mr J. Pryor; Vice-Presidents, Messrs W. C. Buchanan, W. H. Booth, li. H. Donald, W. Pragnell, A. W. Cave, A. P. Whatman, S. Inder, J Georgeton, and D. Caselberg; N.Z.H.A. delegate, Mr W. E. Burling; secretary, Mr A. C. Prague 1 !!; Management Committee, Messrs Hunter, White, Donald, Fisher, Kaine; Postponement • Committee, Messrs Goer, White and Hunter; Auditor, Mr J. B. Rue; Claw-ini-ation Committee, Messrs Smith, A. J. Fisher, Raine, land Hunter. It was decided to close nominations for permits for teams on. the. 27th April. . Plie opening of the season was fixed for the 4th of May. j The Post Office Savings Bank was j decided upon as the bank of the I Association.
It was left in the hands of the secretary to arrange a match with either Wellington or Hawke's Bay for June 3rd.
