THE BOROUGH ELECTION.

PROSPECTIVE CANDIDATES. A reporter of the Age took advantage of last night's meeting of the Borough Council to question Councillors concerning their intentions in regard to the coming municipal election. Councillors Hoar, Prentice, Pragnell and Elliott intimated that it was their intention of offering themselves for re-election, but Councillors Morris and E wing ton were uncertain. Councillor Temple is out of town, but. it is understood that he intends again becoming a candidate. There are two vacancies caused by the retirement of Crs Pauling and Rigg.
