After tea the chairman introduced Mrs Harrison Lee Cowie. who delivered a most interesting'adtlWss. She said tEe Y.M.C.A. was an institution which catered for the intellect as well as the body. Mrs Cowie stated that all over the. world where she had travelled she had repeatedly found | that it was not the man of health but the man of goodness that was required. At the clo::e .of her address Mrs Coivie was ao;-orded a hearty vote of thanks. The chairman spoke a few words of farewell to the Rev. C. H. Olds, who was also present. Mr Old.; responded, urging practical Christianity.
Several strangers spoke in reply to the chairman's welcome, and the meeting was 'closed with the singing of tile Doxotogy.
