MASTERTON RACING CLUB.
MEETING 05" STEWARD A meeting of stewards of tEd Master ton Racing Club was held on Saturday last, there being"' present,— Messrs C. F. Vallance (in the chair), A. J. Welch, F. E. Dorset, G. H. Yartes, J. Macara, J. B. Moodie, C. J. Bennett, W. Piatt, W. lorns, J. lorns, A. Reside, and) D. McLachlan.
A letter was received from the W ollington Rating Club, stating that the disqualification had been removed .from Messrs Henry and Coogan, also informing the Club that tihe applications for racing dates and permits would have to be sent in before 28th April.— Resolved that tlie following dates be applied for: — Spring Meeting, 26th and 27th October; Autumn Meeting, 21st and 22nd March. The secretary was instructed to acquaint the secretary of the Wa.irarapa A. and P. Association of the dates applied for in October, and ask the Association not'to clash by holding their show on those dates. An application for a trainer's license for F. Secombe was recommended.
The interim balance-sheet for tlie last meeting was read, showing a credit balance of £385 los od, which was considered highly satisfactory by the Stewards.
