ALLEGED FALSE REPRESENTATIONS.

Some time back Mr A. W. Hogg, M.P., drew the attention of the Minister for Marin© and Immigration to certain statements made in the London Daily Mail concerning the inducements offered to boys to come to New Zealand'. The attention of Mr Hogg had been drawn to the matter by Mr Bedding, of Eketahuna. Mr Hogg has now been informed by the Minister for Imnjigratioii that the High Commissioner has been communicated with, and steps taken to correct the false impressions which may have been created. The Minister desires that Mr Bedding should be thanked for drav.rsVg attention to the matter.
