JPAHIATPA STOCK SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their usual weekly sto;-k sale in the- Pahiatua Farmers' yards on the 4th inst., when they offered a small yarding of sheep and a good yarding of cattle. A light rain was experienced on Monday night, but 4|ot sufficient to affect the prices of stock, which, if anything, were slightly lower than those ruling last week. , We- qiiote:— Mixed shorn-lambs (small) to os; cull lambs 2s 4d to 2s 7d ; 18-month steers (backward) £3 to £3. ss; fat cows, £4 9s, £4 15s, £5 to £5 10s; 3£yr bullocks, to £6; store cows, £1 10s to £2 18:;; bulls, £2 10s, £2 15s to £4. ■'■■ • _. ~
