'|ftie weather dyufiitronS .were almost perfect, and the shooting in consequence was of a very high order, some of the scores being quite sensational. Rifleman W. proved himself the Club'o champion for the season, making the highest aggregate score over all championship matches, his aggregate score being 377, the runner-up, V. Swanson, scoring 370. Saturday's shooting comprised two matches, the first over" range* 200, 500 and 600 yards, and the second over 800, 900 and 1000 yards, i-ifleman W. Winslade won the first match with the fine score of 102 out of a possible 105. Rifleman A. Lewin also made 102, but was counted out for first place. Captain W. J. Welch put up JLOI, and 100's were made by Riflemen G. Hyde and D. M. Mcintosh. Rifleman (3. G. Monro topped the score in the B Class with a very creditable score of u. The second match was won by Rifleman R. J. King, with a score of". 98, an exceptionally- good one over the long ranges. Rifleman V. Swanson was first for B Class wiTTi a score of 94.
