A COMPREHENSIVE MEASURE.
SHORTLY TO BE INTRODUCED
(Received Last Night, 10.10 o'clock.) LONDON, Match 31. The Right Hon. H. H. Asquith, Prime Minister, gave a sympathetic reply to a temperanco deputation which waited upon him. He said that when the question of the Veto was settled, the Licensing Bill of 1908 would be re-introduced. It would not necessarily be identical with the original measure, but it would be quite as comprehensive and as far reaching.
