IRON WORKERS.

INCREASE IN WAGES GRANTED. (Received Last Night, 9.25 o'clock.). MELBOURNE, March 30. Recently the Iron Workers' Society demanded an all-round increase of a shilling per day in wages. A conference resulted in an amicable agreement with the city employers, the workers receiving an advance of 6d, and country employees, who have been receiving less than the ruling rates, an advance from 2s to 2s 6d daily.
