PONGAROA STOCK SALE. Messrs Abraham and Williams Ltd., report as follows:—We offered a full yarding of sheep and a small one of cattle, to a very large attendance of Farmers. Sheep of good quality and condition met a ready sale, but poorer sorts were somewhat neglected. , The bulk of the entry changed hands at good market values. Quotations: — Good ewes (mixed ages) 13s:/forward ewes, 6s 6d; cull ewes, 2s j 2-tooth wethers, 10s Id, 10s 6d, to lis 4d; Lincoln rams, j'to l£gns; store cows, £l;15s; 18-month steers, £3 6s 6d ; mixed weaners, 32s 6d.
