RESIGNATION OF MINISTRY. THE FEDERALS DEFEATED. ' (Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.), MEXICO CITY, March 25. , The Republican Government of Mexico has resigned. President Diaz has, deferred "the acceptance or rejection of the resignations. The reason for the Ministry's action is that it is believrd that the retirement will facilitate the establishment of peace, with political reforms. The insurgents believe that the granting of their demands is imminent. Reports received from' Presidio, Texas, assert that the insurgent forces defeated the Federal troops, near Chihuahua City. Tlie Federal loss is reported as 160 killed.
