NEWCASTLE MINERS UNEMPLOYED. (Received March 24, 9.55 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The Industrial Court fined the men who recently went on strike at tno Carcoar mines £5 (with 10s 6d ! costs) each y the penalty for..default being a month's imprisonment with hard) labour.
The Sydney Labour Council is enforcing a resolution not to allow any reporters, at 1 the ■ council's- meetings excepting members of the Writers and Artists' Union, Avhich is affiliated'.to the Council:. • ;
