THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES.
The current programme 'at tie Foresters' Hall was shown for the last time to -an "appreciative audience last evening. To-niglit the usual change' will take place, arid the management are confident that their patrons will' find the ; programme quite, up ,to • expectations. The dramas are plentiful arid original in character. "A Life for a Life" is a story woven. round a convict whose bravery is notable in a great and realistic fire scene. A pretty love story is seen in "The Heart of an Actress," dealing with life on and off the stage. A sensational Selig cowboy drama will be found in "The Girls of the Range," while a fine Eastern romance is -contained in "The Buried Man of Tibesso." The scenic and comic pictures are capital, and an A.B. comedy "A Smoked Husband," is sure to be a favourite.
