WORKERS' COTTAGES.
NEW' PLYMOUTH, Last Night.
Employees at the harbour works have forwarded' through the meniber for the district a petition to the Hon. J. A.. Millar for the erection of workers' cottages on apiece of land known as the Prison Reserve. Mr Okey received a reply from the Minister to the effect that if suitable land can be obtained he is willing to erect a number of workers' homes. ■ '-.'.■ .•* y .->•'.
