The Club Handicap Singles in connection with the Masterton Lawn Tennis Club will be finished this afternoon, should the weather permit. The'following are the members who play oil': —

The Pahiatua Tennis Club have just about completed their engagements .for the present season. It was hoped the Masterton Club, which were beaten by Pahiatua last week, would send a team to try and reverse the decision, but this, has proved impossible. A team frbrn ;the .Palmerstoii - North*-Club '---'' may come over on Saturday, 25th inst.
