BUYERS OPERATING FREELY

Bidding is .animated, and prices show a hardening tendency. Continental buyers are operating freely ior medium and fine crossbreds.
Messrs Dalgety and Company, Ltd., have received cable advice from their London office, dated 14th inst., that the wool sales have opened. The attendance of buyers is large and competition animated. Selection is good, and there is no change to report in merinos, and fine, medium, and coarse crossbreds.
Messrs Levin and Co., Ltd.. report the following prices froih London, at the- sales now current: —1.5., Carterton, lOd; T.C.H., Weber, 9d; P.R.E. over T..
