TRUST PROPERTY.
' [To The Edltor.l
Sir, —Are the funds of the Trust Lands Trust so low that they cannot afford the expenditure of a small amount to make their property look just a little bit respectable? *I refer to the corner section adjacent to the Trust Lands Office. On the Chapel Street side the close-boarded fence is hanging over the footpath at the graceful angle of about 45 degrees. A sudden introduction to the said fence on a dark night is not the most pleasant sensation in the world. The back fence running from Chapel Street to nowhere in particular is really a most artistic piece of work. It is composed of ancient ploughs, cart-wheels, wire, wood and scrap-iron, and reminds one very much of a sort of. fence that surrounds a deserted Maori pah.—l am, etc., VICTORIA STREET.
