There was a'- large; attendance, and a sum of £10,287 was put through the totalisator, making £21,561 for the meeting, compared with £11,333 last year. Results:— Omahu Hack Hurdles, one mile and a half.— Rabbitter.;9.s, 1; Burton. 9.0, 2;' Merry Messenger 9.0, 3. Also started— Eiya,! Artie,* Kildon,axi, All Trumps. Won easily by two lengths. Kildonan hit a hurdle, knocking his eye out, and was pull,ed up. Eiya fell. Time, 2min. 47 l-ssec.
Telegraph Hack Handicap, six furlongs.— Birkline 8.13, 1; Cullinan 9.8, 2; Perceler 6.7, 3. Also started'— Erin, Allurement, Montiform, Kathara, Bravest, Bandalero. Won by a length. Time, lmin. 14 4-ssec,
