A meeting of the Managers of the Masterton Technical School was held last evening, there being present Messrs E. Feist (presiding), C. E. Daniel! and E. H. Waddington.
. The secretary apologised for the unavoidable absence of Mr Jack-
A letter was received from the Education Department, defining the terms "trustee and subscriber," as used in the regulations under the Act in connection with the election of Managers. Mr 8. Wood, of -Napier, wrote explaining that it would be impossible for him to take up the position of instructor to wool classes at Masterton this year, and recommending that his son, who enclosed an application and several testimonials in, support thereof, for the position. The Managers decided to make no appointment at present, but appointed Messrs Jackson and Daniell, in conjunction with- the secretary, to act as a sub-committee for the purpose of developing a scheme for the establishment of wool classes in the district, and to i-eport to the ordinary meeting of Managers on the 31st inst.
