RAILWAY WAR COUNCIL.

SYDNEY, March 15. In a report the Railway War Council recommends the-following: ■tfhat the Council should have a definite military constitution, for the creation of engineer and railway staff corps i the proceedings of the Council to be recorded as recommendations to the Minister of Defence. The Council's duties generally would he to furnish advice on; such railway mat•ters as were referred to it.by l the Minister,' and-to suggest regulations for the transportation of troops and:advise; iniilitary authorities ,on the capahilitj ies'arid possibilities of; the railways."
