Huge prices, are being obtained in the West End for mansions for the Coronation. An American offered £17,000 for three months for a house in Wall Street. The .owner asks £20,000. A Liberal Peer refused £IO,OOO for his residence for six weeks. Mr Hay's Hammond, a special representative from the United States, is paying £2OOO a week for the Countess Burd'ett Coutts' old house.
