Plaintiff claimed thai .she complied with all the conditions of the Society, wiio, after she wa« adjudged the winner, refused to pay her the prize money. For the defence it was claimed thaft she • ha< failed to comply with a clause in the general conditions, and it was under the power contained therein by the committee that plaintiff, forfeited the prize money. At an inquest held to-day on the circumstances surrounding the death of the lad Joseph.
