By Telegraph—Press Association. * WELLINGTON, Last Night, i The MetotffologicaL Office this evening issued the following summary and forecast:— A disturbance passed southward of New Plymouth and Napier during Tuesday night and early this-mornhig, with winds veering by west to south. The glass was then rising steadily, and rain fell in most parts -of the South' Island, and the weather was generally changeable. ; , Present indications ai'e for moderate to strong south-easterly winds in tho north, and southerly and westeriy in the south. The weather will probably be unsettled on tho East Coast and about Foveaux Strait, but the coo ditions are, improving elsewhere. The barometer will probably; vise slowly everywhere. " . " Y
