BREACH OF PRIVILEGE

SYDNEY, March 8.
" Mr Caitts, a member; of the Federal House, of Parliament, and Secretary of the Railway and Tramway Association, was fined £3 for divulging -.the proceedings of the Railway Service Superannuation Board. Mr Oatts published information in the Association's official organ. The defence was that the regulation prohibiting the publication' was ultra vires. The proceedings were taken at the instance of the Chief Railway Commissioner.
