The clergy and laity of Wellington. Diocese are to be heartily congratulated' upon their choice of a successor to .Has' Lordship Bishop Wallas. The.Rev. T.- H. Sprott, M.A., was for many years Vicar of St Paul's, in Wellington, and his intellectual attainments and administrative Ability are unquestioned. It is satisfactory to find that, in two recent appointments of Kshops of the Anglican -Church in New Zealland, it hat? not been, found necessary \vo go outside clergymen who have done faitlrftil service in tlie Dominion.
