Mr J. McPeak, ot lviauriceville West, was the successful tenderer for the leasehold of the late Mr A. Stewart's homestead property, and Mr Lett for the small town block near tho railway station. Pharazyns "Hutinga" property. Sheep-dipping operations have started, and with the splendid supply of water that is present this season, this work should be a pleasure.
