AUCKLAND, Monday. In view of the departure of Sir Joseph Ward and Dr. Find lay the Cabinet portfolios have been re-arranged. j Mr Carrol will be Acting-Premier, and, in addition to his own portfolios, will be the Minister in Charge of the Crown Law, the Advances to Settlers, the Electoral and the National Annuities Department. Mr Miller takes the Treasury, the Friondly Societies, the State Guaranteed Advances and the Land and Income Tax Departments. Mr Fowlds has the Defence ,the Justice, the Police and Prisons and the Public Health portfolios. Mr T .Mackenzie takes ,the Post and Telegraph, the Advertising, and the State Forests, and Mr El McMcKenzie the Customs. Mr Bucido has the Laud for Settlement and Land for Settlers Finance Department in his charge.
