f A DIVORCE CASE. CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. In the Supreme Court, Notman v. Notman and Brown, a divorce case on the husband's petition, Judge Denniston gave his deferred judgment. Ho, held that the petitioner had been an accessory to an -adultery' of the respondeat, with the co-respondent, and dismissed the petition -with costs. Judge Dannioioii also gave judgment on the application of defendant for a new' trial; irrtho case, Greenwood Hadler, in which the jury awarded plaintiff damages for the death of a brood mare, "Slave-away," alleged to have been injured owing to defendant's negligence. The jury's verdict was upheld. Judgment was given for the plaintiff for the amount of the verdict, with co&ts.
