GOOD STAND BY SOUTH AFRICA

SYDNEY, March 6. The fifth and last test match between South Africa and Australia was continued to-day in hot weather, on a hard and fast wicket. South Africa, with one wicket down for 33, continued their second innings, and at the close of the day's play have lost six wickets for 368. Following are the scores:— AUSTRALIA. He has completed the unique record of having aggregated 100 runs in each of the five test matches. He compares favourably with-the best Australians.
