A NEW FRENCH PLAY.
SERIOUS RIOTING

PARTS, March 3. In connection with the production of M. Henri Bernstein's new play, "Apres Moi," at the Comedie Francaise, there has been further rioting. A mob numbering 200 made numerous attempts last night to storm the theatre. The Municipal Mounted Guards repeatedly charged the demonstrators, and trampled some of them under foot. Revolver shots were fired. The police suffered severely in repelling attacks on M. Bernstein's residence. (Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.) PARIS, March 4. M. Henri Bernstein has voluntarily withdrawn his play.
