EVANS—SHAW. • A. Very pretty wedding was celebrated at Knox Church, Masterton, yesterday aftei-noon, when ] Mr, R k E. Evans;-'formerly of -.-ucMand,, ■[' and Miss* 'An«ie : Shaw, daughter of Mrs Shaw, of Eeathenston, and granddaughter of Mr F. Shaw, of Te Ore Ore, were united in the bonds of * ... matrimony. The bride,, who was given away by her , brother, Mr James Shaw, was charmingly, attired' in-a cream eolienne dress. .She also wore the customary veil and orange blossoms, and carried a shower bouquet. Misses McKenzie and Evans, who'attended the bride as bridesmaids, were prettily dressed in cream delaine with wedgwood-blue hats, and they also. carried shower bouquets. Mr J. Evans, a brother ;oftho bridegroom, was best man, and Mr George Hood! was groomsriian; The ceremony was conducted by the Rev. A. T. Thompson. A reception was held subsequently at Miss Thomas' "Wenvoe" tearooms, when the usual toasts were honoured and congratulatory speeches made.
