AN AVIATOR'S BAD LUCK.

PARIS", February 25. Whilst competing for the' Paris Bruisers' Aeronautical Prize, M. Lordan landed in a field at Rheims. He left his aeroplane unguarded and went to lunch. On retiirning to the spot, he found that only the motor and damaged met-al-work remained. Some peasants, thinking that the aeroplane had been abandoned, broke it up and took away the parts as souvenirs.
