THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES; GREAT PANToSIE NOTELTt. TJie wet weather on Saturday evening did not prevent a large number of people witnessing 1 (the final screening of the current programme of pictures at. the Foresters' Hall, . each film meeting with hearty approval. The usual change will take place this evening, wihen amongst the "all-sftar" novelties' to be presented will be ith© great pantomime picture "Alice in Wonderland.". This picture was taken at an enormous cost, and has secured for itself a, high place in the picture world. The dramas include the first of a new series, which Messrs Thompson, a'nd Payne haVb made, arrangements Ito have supplied to them regularly. These are ' 'Hearts of. Oak," ' 'Dr Brian Pelle (dealing wita ifche life of a coiner and forger), "The Sleep Walker," and "The Puke of Aries" all* intensely exciting studies. The scenics are' particularly good, comprising "Beautiful Brittany," "The Valley of MeraM," "Timber Industry in British Columbia." "The comedies and comics are an excellent lot of mirth provokers.
