Each picture was warmly applauded, showing that the audience were not slow to recognise the merit of the films submitted. Three of the pictures deserve special mention, viz., "Simple Charity" (a pathetic A.B. drama, in which Dorothy Nicholson takes the part of the kind-rhearted "slavey");; "Little Willie ; and .the Tramp'' (in which Liverpool child-artist,Willie Straihger, /takes' the leading role), and?
