THE JURY'S VEHDICT. By Tekijravh — Press Association. OHRJSTCHuioH, Last Night. At the .adjourned inquest concerning the death of Ethel May Bradley, whose Ibody was found in a right-o?-way, evidence was given by Walter Richard Saddler, one of the accused, who stated that Jack, the other .accused, brought deceased to his shop on the night of February 7th. The woman had said she was ill. When she entered the shop she did not speak, but gave.a sigh, and leaned; against the counter until a chair was produced. Water was given her, but she dropped the .glass, and Jack went out for liquor. Deceased then went black in the face, and witness rushed out 101 Jack. On '-returning they tried to get liquor down deceased's throat, but her teeth were clenched and they realised that she was dead. After suggestions were made with reference to informing the police or to call for a doctor, the' accused decided to'.'take the body* away,." so that Jack's connection with 'the affair might not he discovered. They carried the body on a sack, and placed it in, the right-of-way.. Farther evidence that 'deceased had l taken poison just before entering the shop. The jury, after aoti hour and twenty minutes' reth'ement,'; returned with the following verdict:—- "We find that the deceased; Ethel May Bradley, died, by prussic acid poisoning. Whether it was administered by. herself or by other persons we cannot say. We are of opinion that the poison was taken iin the presence of Harry .-JiMSk."*':';."'::' •' -. /
