MAN EXPIRES WHILE BATHING.
AUCKLAND, Last Night. ' When I } J9 Northern Company's Daphne was at' Matakana. Heads yesterday, the chief steward, aged 29, named Lawrencs Morrigan, went in for a swim. Whether he wa's peized with cramp or had a heart attack is not known, but he died in the water, and the body was brought *up to Auckland. An inquest will be held to-morrow.
