LONDON, February 23.
The Times' Teheran correspondent reports that the Russian, garrison at Ardebil, forestalling the. Persian Governor's efforts to punish the brigandish Shapsewns tribesmen, burned the village of Yenvmun. , The 'Cossacks, using daggers, slew men and women ami outraged the women, 'though the brigands were absent from the village. Fifty innocent people were killed. The Russian Minister has apologised to Persia.
