YATES—BERRY!
IA. wedding in which a good deal of? local interest, was manifested was celebrated at. St. Matthew's Church, Masterton, yesterday, when Mr. [ Charles Vivian Yates, eldest son •of I Mr G, H. Yates, of the, Upper Plain, ; was married to Miss Hilda Elizabeth Boyce Berry, eldest daughter of Mr J. H. Berry, of, Masterton. The bride, who was given, away by her ■father, was aitired in' a handsome dress of white silk , taffeta and a white velvet hat with'.white wings, and" carried the customary shower bouquet. She was attended by Miss Amy Yates and Miss Marjory Berry, who were dressed in white silk, with, pink hats, and carried; bouquets of white asters. Mr Robent 1 McKenzie acted as best man; and Mr Jack Berry as groomsman. The Rev. H. Watson was (the officiating clergyman'.? -After the ceremony, the party adjourned to the Kia Ora tea rooms, where a large number of guests ? sat down to an enjoyable wedding break-, fast, and all joined iii wishing the newly married couple happiness and prosperity. Mr Wd Mrs Yates left by the 5.4.5 p.m., train for Palmer* stoh North and Wellington.
