NAPIER CALEDONIAN SPORTS.

NAPIER, Last Night. The anmwl Caledonian Sports meeting was held on the recreation ground to-day, when there was a record, attendance, about 5000 people being present.- Strum won the 120 yds and 220 yds handicaps-in 11 2-ssecs and 21 2-ssecs from 12vds and 21 respectively. A Greig, 40yds, Avon the 440 yds handican in 49 sees, Trembath from scratch running a good third, his time being 50secs. Harston, from 45yds". won the amateur quarter mile, also in 49sees, from Harding, scratch, the latter's time being a tick over 51secs. L, C. McLachlan, 15yds, won the half mile, and ; C. R. Redward, 70yds. won'the mile in 4min Campbell, scr,. being second." Chapman and Miller won the one mile and two mile bicvele handicaps respectively. M. McKechnie won most of the dancing events. ,
