SYDNEY, February 22

Admiral King-Hall, the newly appointed Commander of the Australian fleet, took over the "command of the Navy to-day. Admiral Poore, in farewelling the crew of H.M.S. Powerful, said it would be only two years, perhaps, before the white ensign would disappear from Australian waters. Its place would be taken by the Commonwealth flag, which 'he hoped would take care of the ceas in this part of the world, as the British flag had done.
