INVERCARGILL, Last Night. , A mass meeting of citizens was held in the theatre to-night,, to farewell the Prime Minister prior .to. his* leaving for the Coronation and. Imperial Conference. His Worship the Mayor, Mi* Ott, presided, and the theatre was crowded. Sir Joseph Ward was presented with an illuminated address, and cordial speeches were made by the Mayor and Mr Hanan, M.P. Sir Joseph Ward, in reply, covered much the same ground as that he traversed in his speech at the' Bluff on the previous night. Sir Joseph leaves for Dunedin to-morrow morning. .
