MR REDMOND'S GUARANTEE
WORTHLESS.
(Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.)
LONDON, February 18
Mr Frank O'Donnell, who was for some years an Irish Nationalist mem" ber of Parliament, and President of the National Democratic League from 1904 to 1906, in a letter to The Times declares that whatever merits or demerits the payment of members 'and election expenses.may have, they would emancipate Ireland from the domination of the American dollars, and weaken the- Irish League's influence.
Home Rule, he says, should be submitted <to free electors, who should be above the dictation of an Oppressive machine, and of foreign funds.
He advises Mr .-isquith to wait until the Irish constituencies render a free vote. : Mr" O'Donnell declares that MiRedmond's guarantee of finality 'is worthless/ '■'-".■.
